Remodelling, Extension & Loft Conversion - Completed January 2016
A Victorian semi-detached house will be remodelled internally to open up the lower ground level with a new side return extension to create a wider, more flexible kitchen dining space. The garage outbuilding will be demolished to make space for the new side extension and a larger sun terrace looking onto the rear garden. It is intended that a fully glazed roof to the extension fold down onto the new external brick wall to maximise natural light.
The main roof space will be extended by converting the existing hipped roof into a gable end roof and by introducing a double dormer to the rear with distant views over the North Downs. The loft conversion will provide an additional bedroom, shower room and study.
