Heron Drive, Stoke Newington

Town house - Remodeling, Interior Design – Completed 2013

This three-storey town house located in the Stoke Newington Reservoirs, Filter Beds and New River Conservation Area in Hackney was transformed by relocating the main staircase allowing the garage to be converted into additional living space, linked into the existing kitchen and dining areas to create a dual aspect living space at ground level.

The layouts on the floors above were also re-planned around the new straight flight staircase, which features continuous vertical spindles, allowing light to penetrate down from a new rooflight, to save space and allow a visual link between the floors.

Planning permission was granted in July 2012.
