Vogan Close, Reigate

Detached link house, Remodeling, Extension & Conversion - Completed 2015

The brief was to add more internal living space without compromising the use of the garden or the open views currently enjoyed over the Surrey Hills to the rear, whilst retaining some of the original features of this 1950s house.

A single storey timber-clad extension covered with a sedum blanket roof steps gently down into the site from the main house to fit discreetly within the south-west facing mature garden.

The ground floor proposals involve remodelling the existing layout to provide flexible use of space for a family who need quiet space during the working the week but enjoy entertaining and having visitors over to stay during the weekend.

Planning permission was granted in December 2013.
